Compliance under Pressure
Compliance under Pressure
CEJ 2022, Volume 08, Number 01
This edition addresses the ongoing political and economic crisis, which poses challenges for companies and could lead to less investment in compliance. The latter threatens to increase the vulnerability of companies to compliance violations.
At the same time, legal policy trends are moving toward a stronger commitment to compliance and transparency (e.g., the German Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains or implementation laws of EU Whistleblower Directive). The articles in this issue deal with legislative developments, trends emerging from them as well as the question of the limit of “Creative Compliance”.
In addition, the Compliance Elliance Journal team is very pleased to present with this edition our new Content Curator, » Prof. Dr. Konstantina Papathanasiou, University of Liechtenstein and » Markus Endres, attorney and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), who serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of an international pharmaceutical company as a member of the CEJ Advisory Board.
