Data privacy statement

When using the services of CEJ-online following personal data may be collected, which will not be shared with third parties. For signing up to our newsletter only your e-mail-address is requested. It is stored on a German server and will exclusively be used to inform about the journal and not be shared with third parties. Only the administrators have access to this information. You have the right to object to the use of your e-mail-address via mail at any time. The collection of these data is voluntary on the legal basis of Art. 6 I a) GDPR. Aside from that, automatic storage of certain information from which conclusions to your identity can be drawn takes place when visiting CEJ-online. In particular your IP-address, time and date of your access and your activities on our homepage are recorded. To analyze and evaluate the behavior of our visitors and the websites global reach, we are working with the services of Google Analytics (a web analytics service offered by Google, Inc.) on the basis of a data processing contract (Art. 28 III GDPR). Google Analytics is certified by the EU-US Privacy Shield. As the website of CEJ-online is masking every collected IP-address, they are received by Google Analytics only in an anonymized form, from which no conclusion to your identity can be drawn. The information is collected on the legal basis of Art. 6 I f) for the purpose of improving our website based on traffic analysis.
